🧩 Opportunity Intelligence & Operations · a Revenue Puzzles practice
Stop searching for opportunities. Start receiving the ones worth pursuing.
SQL Puzzles monitors tenders, RFPs, grants, funded projects and partnership calls across your markets — then qualifies each one against your capabilities, case studies and growth priorities. You get decision-ready briefs, not keyword noise.
⚙️ The category
Opportunity intelligence is not lead generation
Most companies discover the right tender, grant or partnership call too late — or drown in hundreds of unqualified alerts. SQL Puzzles exists for the space in between: continuous discovery, rigorous qualification, and a clear recommendation for every opportunity that actually fits you.
We monitor
- Public tenders
- Private RFPs and RFQs
- Grants and funding calls
- Innovation programmes
- Partner and consortium calls
- Funded projects
- Frameworks and supplier panels
- Early procurement signals
We do not provide
- Generic contact lists
- Random sales leads
- Automated keyword alerts
- Hundreds of unqualified tenders
- Spray-and-pray outreach databases
We help technology, consulting and engineering companies build and operate systems that continuously find, qualify and pursue high-value external opportunities.
🪜 The offering architecture
Not three random services. A maturity ladder.
From an entry audit, through a managed radar, to a full external opportunity & bid office. Start where you are — climb when the pipeline proves it.
Opportunity Intelligence Audit
We analyse your current process, benchmark it, map the gaps, recommend the stack and hand you 5–10 live example opportunities plus an implementation roadmap.
Opportunity Intelligence Desk
We design and install your in-house system: sources, tools, monitors, qualification rules, bid/no-bid framework, cadence and team training. You run it; we build it.
Managed Opportunity Radar
We run the monitoring and deliver only qualified, decision-ready opportunities — with fit scores, risks, incumbents and a recommended next step. You decide; you bid.
Capture Sprint
A serious opportunity appears — from us or from you. In 5–10 days we deliver the full analysis, bid/no-bid recommendation, win themes and a capture plan.
Opportunity Operations as a Service
Your external opportunity & bid ops desk: identification, qualification, bid/no-bid, capture preparation and bid coordination — from signal to submission readiness.
Bid Operations Sprint
You've decided to bid. We run the process as your bid project manager: compliance matrix, workback plan, owners, review gates, submission readiness.
Not every client climbs the whole ladder. Typical paths below ↓ — the flagship entry point for most teams is the Managed Opportunity Radar.
🤜🤛 Three ways to work with us
Build it. Outsource the radar. Or outsource the operation.
One shared engine — three ownership models. The difference between them must be crystal clear, so here it is.
Opportunity Intelligence Desk
We design the sources, tools, qualification rules and workflows your team needs to run opportunity intelligence internally.
- Capability mapping & opportunity thesis
- Source & tool map (Stotles, Mercell, TED, Clay, LLM agents)
- 10–30 configured monitors & alerts
- Qualification rubric & bid/no-bid framework
- Operating cadence, roles, team playbook
- First calibration of live results
Managed Opportunity Radar
We continuously monitor the market and deliver qualified, decision-ready opportunities matched to your capabilities.
- Tenders, RFPs, grants, funded projects, partnerships
- Full qualification brief for every real fit
- Fit score, risks, disqualifiers, incumbent intel
- Real-time alerts — Slack, Teams, e-mail, WhatsApp
- Weekly Opportunity Digest
- Monthly Intelligence Review & recalibration
Opportunity Operations as a Service
A fractional opportunity & bid office: we run the process from discovery and qualification through capture and bid coordination.
- Monitoring, sourcing & opportunity scoring
- Bid/no-bid analysis & decision calls
- Capture prep — buyer, incumbent, partners, win themes
- Bid ops — compliance matrix, workback, owners, versions
- Submission readiness & expert coordination
- Post-bid — win/loss reviews, capability library updates
📡 Flagship · Managed Opportunity Radar
Three radar plans. One promise: only what fits.
Every plan delivers qualified opportunities with context, fit and a recommendation — never raw keyword alerts.
Radar Focus
For teams testing one market: a single vertical, a single region.
- One vertical, one region
- Active tenders and RFPs
- Weekly Opportunity Digest
- Up to 5 full qualification briefs / month
Radar Growth
For companies pursuing several opportunity types across 2–3 regions.
- Multiple opportunity types
- 2–3 regions
- Active opportunities + early signals
- 8–15 qualification briefs / month
- Real-time alerts (Slack / Teams / e-mail)
- Monthly calibration session
Radar Intelligence
For organisations treating external opportunities as a strategic pipeline.
- Many sources and markets
- Grants, funded projects, tenders, partnerships
- Incumbent and buyer intelligence
- Strategic account monitoring
- Dedicated analyst
The Radar ends at “this is the right opportunity — and this is how you should respond.” When you decide to pursue, a Capture Sprint takes it from there.
📋 The deliverable
Anatomy of a qualified brief
Every opportunity we surface arrives as a structured, decision-ready brief. Thirteen fields — nothing missing, nothing padded.
Alerts when speed matters
Opportunities with tight clarification windows or short deadlines reach you instantly — Slack, Teams, e-mail or WhatsApp.
Opportunity Digest
New opportunities, changes in the ones we're watching, upcoming deadlines and recommended decisions — one scannable weekly rhythm.
Intelligence Review
Accepted vs. rejected, rejection reasons, criteria changes, new sources, and the pipeline the radar actually influenced.
🏃 Project add-ons
When one opportunity is worth the sprint
Capture Sprint
An opportunity looks serious — from the Radar or from your own network. We help you decide and prepare the approach before anyone writes a page of the bid.
Bid Operations Sprint
You've decided to bid, but the process needs an owner. We act as your bid project manager — keeping compliance, timelines and contributors on track to submission.
🔍 Zero ambiguity

💬 Common questions
Frequently asked
Is this lead generation?
No. We don't sell contact lists or outbound campaigns. SQL Puzzles monitors structured, verifiable opportunities — tenders, RFPs, grants, funded projects, consortium calls — and qualifies each one against your actual capabilities. The unit of value is a decision-ready brief, not a name in a spreadsheet.
Do you write the bids for us?
We coordinate the bid process — compliance, timelines, owners, evidence, review gates — as your bid project manager. Technical content, pricing, legal opinions and certifications stay with your experts or specialist partners we help you coordinate. We never promise a win; we make sure the process doesn't lose it for you.
How is the Radar different from tools like Stotles or TED alerts?
Those tools are sources — and we happily use them, alongside private RFP channels, grant databases and early signals. The difference is qualification: every opportunity that reaches you carries a fit score, matching capabilities and case studies, mandatory requirements, disqualifiers, incumbent intelligence and a recommendation. You read a brief, not a feed.
What if we want to run this in-house?
That's exactly what the Opportunity Intelligence Desk is for. We build the system — sources, monitors, qualification rubric, bid/no-bid framework, cadence — and train your team to operate it. Start with a €2k–€4k Audit if you want to see the gap before committing to the build.
Do you work on success fees?
We can attach a bonus for shortlisting or a win to larger engagements, but we don't run purely on success fees. We control the quality of the process — not your pricing, your reputation or the buyer's decision — so the model reflects what we can actually be accountable for.
Which markets and sectors do you cover?
Technology, consulting and engineering companies selling into European public and enterprise buyers — with coverage configured per client across regions, verticals and opportunity types. The Focus plan starts with one vertical and one region; Intelligence spans multiple markets with a dedicated analyst.
